Textbook rentals are handled by the College Bookstore, not the Library.  The bookstore is located at 624 S. Michigan Avenue. For more information or to contact the bookstore, see https://colum.bncollege.com/shop/columbia-chi/page/customer-service

You can use the Library to borrow and read both print books and ebooks.  Both can be found using the library search tool on the Library home page.  Ebooks can be viewed online.  You will log in using your Columbia single sign-on login to view ebooks. Print books can be checked out at the Library using your Columbia I.D. card. Standard borrowing period for students is 4 weeks, but you can renew for additional time.

Most textbooks, if not available in ebook format, are on reserve and available in the Library at the 1st floor Desk to borrow and use in the library only.  You need your Columbia ID card to use anything on reserve.  The Library is in the 624 S. Michigan building.
