Can you be more specific? For example, if you are looking for plays, are you looking for a particular title or author? If the answer is yes, then do a search for the title or author using the main search box on the library homepage.

If you are most interested in browsing for books by genre or format, then consult the Book Browsing Guide (link below). This guide identifies broad topics and disciplines and lists the appropriate call numbers. For example: 811 for poetry, 812 for American plays, 822 for British plays, 813 for American fiction, 823 for British fiction, 791.437 for filmscripts.

Based on the call number for your topic, you can find the books in the Main Collection on the 3rd through the 5th floors as follows:

  • 000-739: 3rd Floor
  • 740-779: 4th Floor
  • 780-999: 5th Floor
